Ettin Rune Farming Build for W/Mo
This is my first ever build so be lite on the comments, all help is welcome. I have not played this game in a VERY long time but i got back on doing the thing that I love to do... Rune Farming! Personally I love to use swords for rune farming because I like swords lol. Anyways back to how to do this. First you can spawn in Lions Arch or in Beetletun. Personally I like to spawn in Lions Arch so that I only have to load once.
Getting there
First you get out of Lions Arch and go down the path, their are going to be some imps so just try to ignore them. Run down then take your first right. Walk down the narrow passage then take a left. Follow the trail to New Ascalon Settlement, try to ignore the bird things, they can REALLY be annoying. If they so happen to kill you just respawn and start over cause DP will annoy you during Ettin killing.
Build
Sever Artery
Gash
Galrath Slash
Final Thrust
Mending
Healing Breeze
Healing Signent
Sprint
You may notice their is no elite but I found that their really isnt a nead for one, you can put in an elite if you want but otherwise dont bother with it all sword elites suck (in prophecies at least). Also you can see their is not disrupt for their healing signent, you can replace galrath slash for one, but I find it fun to use final thrust and spike them for 115 damage. Everything else is self explanatory, I use a Victos Blade so that is why I have mending.
Attribute poins
Swordsmanship- maxed and use a minor rune with it
healing- spend your points untill mending is at +3 health regen
strength- 9 points for sprint
tactics- put everything else in tactics
Armor/ Weapons
I use platemail armor, but anything else will work as long as it is maxed armor.
The weapon I use is a Victos Blade I find it quite usefull with 3 life stealing and +30 health.
All comments are welcome, please keep them friendly. You can PM me in game my chars name is Strong Steve. I only play over weekends for school.

Didn't this get nerfed? And I'm sure you could much more effectively farm them as /Rt with VwK and Vengeful Weapon nowadays... that is, if you wanted to stick to the Warrior primary.

Beyond any nerfs, go check the rune trader prices and tell me why you would waste any amount of time on it. I remember when sup vig/abs were over 90k - that's when rune farming was a source of money. Now, no.

Not only that, didn't people do it primarily to get Superior Monk runes as well as Superior Vigor and Superior Absorptions? Back in the day when any of those were actually worth something, this could be potentially profitable... but these days... oh well.
I remember when I restarted GW (I quit during the Factions preview event) I was so pumped to go Griffon farming in the Crystal Desert only to see they nerfed the run with the addition of Scarabs and other pests. I'm going to just assume this was to relive the old days just as I wanted to when I returned.

Mending...?
That's really only viable on a 55hp, same for Healing Breeze in a way.
Still, this isnt the farming section...:/

Mending will negate almost all of the Ettin's damage, they're level 15.

This isn't worth farming anymore as runes prices have plummeted and quality of drops was nerfed
The build itself is fine though.

Zealous +30 axe and Now I use a +10blunt/+30 shield before this was available I had a -2/+45 stance
Template Code: OQMU0wIK3aGdVrUVqQlrBwfA
Sprint, Frenzy, Eviscerate, Executioners, Disrupting chop, Watch Yourself, Heal sig, and Vig Spirit.
14 axe (helm + major)
10 tactics (8+minor)
9 str (8+minor)
8 in healing.
Used this since back when sup vigors and absorbs were retardedly high in price and never had a problem. Dchop heal sig and ur gg.
Although there isn't much point in this run anymore, its still fun to go do occasionally.
